About Me
I’m a counselor who genuinely loves working with adolescents, young adults, and college students — because this stage of life is no joke. It’s full of pressure, identity shifts, family changes, big decisions, and moments of self doubt. I’m here to help you find your authentic self.
My approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from mindfulness, ACT, DBT, CBT, creative and movement-based therapies, and neurological-informed work. I often incorporate nature-based therapeutic interventions and offer walk-and-talk therapy, allowing clients to engage in the counseling process while moving through natural outdoor settings. I’m licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, and I hold a Master’s in Counseling and Development. My background includes working in hospital emergency behavioral health, elementary and high schools, and private practice, so I’ve supported a wide range of needs across many settings. Before private practice, I was a preschool teacher and school counselor, which gave me a deep appreciation for how we grow and change from early childhood through young adulthood — and how much parents are navigating alongside their kids.
Outside of the therapy space, I most often spend time with my family. My husband, son, daughter, and our dog keep me grounded in laughter, play, and the simple joys of everyday life. I enjoy running, reading, practicing yoga, and traveling. I feel a deep connection to nature, and I’m a beach girl at heart, where the ocean air and sunshine restore me. I also delight in the company of dogs, and find joy in their energy, companionship and presence.
